On Friday and Saturday, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy a private evening experience like no other. Indulge in the exquisite Herradura Legend tequila, savor specialty cocktails crafted with care, and embark on a journey of tequila-tasting that is truly unique dance the night away with our Dj, and revel in the extraordinary ambiance.

Please note that these special events are exclusively for adults, aged 21 and older, and space is limited.

Experience the wonder of the Giant Alebrijes! Starting in mid-October at La Villita Historic Village, this captivating display showcases enormous ‘Spirit Animals’ known as Alebrijes. These brightly colored Mexican fantastical folk art sculptures bring delight, rather than dread, to all who behold them.

 Crafted by talented artists from Mexico City, these larger-than-life mythical creatures originated from a vivid dream experienced by Mexican artist Pedro Linares in 1943.

 

Step into a world of enchantment at the ‘Calavera Collection’ exhibit! 🌺✨ Opening in mid-October at La Villita Historic Arts Village, this ex traordinary display features over 25 giant skulls meticulously adorned by the talented artists of San Antonio.

Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the ‘Calavera Collection.’ Marvel at the rich colors and intricate details that breathe life into each skull. Best of all, the exhibit is open for public viewing, free of charge, during the Day of the Dead festival.Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the magnificence of this cultural phenomenon. Through Day of the Dead San Antonio, the authentic traditions of Mexico’s Día de Muertos come to life, allowing us to share the heritage of honoring our deceased loved ones by celebrating and remembering their lives.

No city in the United States embraces the colorful and cultural Día de Muertos like San Antonio. Activations across our city celebrate diversity, heritage and history, some taking place for more than 40 years, bringing locals and visitors together.

San Antonio host many authentic Day of the Dead celebrations, showcasing, artwork and family traditions. Día de Muertos is a holiday to celebrate with family and friends. We want to celebrate with you!.

Where to Park?

We want to make your experience as easy and hassle-free as possible!

To make sure we can accommodate everyone who wants to participate in this event, please observe all traffic officers and No Parking signs. We want to minimize traffic congestion in the area. There are numerous parking lots and garages in the surrounding downtown area. Please consider carpooling, ride-sharing or public transportation if you would like to minimize parking issues.
