Chanel Avila.I am a Highschool Junior, and have always loved making art ever since I was a kid. Being creative is the best. When I was little, me and my grandpa would craft together. We would make things out of popsicle sticks,cardboard, and paper. My grandpa is very talented, and he would always paint portraits of me and my family. He also made sure to keep photos of my grandma around his housey, as she has sadly passed away. Every year he makes sure to add new flowers next to her photo. My culture is very important to me, and I am very happy to share my art with San Antonio.For the Day of the Dead celebration.
