Dani is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in painting, sculpture, ceramics and digital illustration, exploring her Hispanic heritage through botanical and culinary visuals pertaining to her memories and upbringing in Mexico City. She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2018. In 2019, Dani participated in artist residencies in Los Angeles, Wyoming, and Berlin. From 2020- 2024 she has been in several group exhibitions in NYC and San Antonio, and has worked with several clients who sought her digital illustrative works for albums covers, apps, and other various designs. Most recently, she has been living and working in San Antonio, Texas, exploring different forms of making as she seeks to invoke a sensory reaction of comfort and warmth in the viewer.
