PARA MI FAMILIA
Initially in Mexico, Lupita dolls were created for those who could not afford the more expensive porcelain doll. After awhile, brothels began using them by placing the dolls infront of windows to advertise available women. Since then, the dolls have just become a cool part of artisano Mexicano. My Calavera signifies their journey, and celebrates working women.
